I find that the Windows registry editor to be a very simple and straightforward interface to a data structure that is both complicated and dangerous. This means that the Registry Editor is both my pick for a good interface in that it is a simple and straightforward tool, and my pick for a bad interface because it can easily be used to accidentally cripple a user's computer if they try to use it without know what they are doing. Fortunately, in more recent versions of Windows Microsoft has put up some warnings that remind the user what they could be getting themselves into.
